I’ve been a long time member of a DVD film club called Spiritual Cinema Circle.  Members receive a monthly DVD with one feature presentation, and several shorts and or documentaries.  The selected films, which often come from international film festivals, are thought provoking and uplifting.  It’s a welcome respite from the “bang ‘em up, shoot ‘em up” fare that’s typically chosen by the rest of my family.  Living in a house of testosterone, (with my husband, two boys, and a male cat), my “chick flick” movie choices are often overruled.  However, my guys would have to admit that they’ve enjoyed many of the Spiritual Cinema Circle films.  If you are looking for heartwarming, inspiring entertainment, I highly recommend joining the Spiritual Cinema Circle They offer the first month free—you only have to pay for shipping.

The Spiritual Cinema Circle has just produced the movie CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD, based on the bestselling books by Donald Neale Walsh.  The movie opened on Friday in U.S. theaters and will open in Canada on November 10.  To find a theatre and watch the trailer click here The film will be sent as one of the 2007 Spiritual Cinema Circle selections, but if it’s playing near you, why wait?

Shortly before the release of the movie, the Spiritual Cinema Circle and www.belief.net conducted a survey to see if and how people talked to God and if God talked back.  In taking the survey, I realized that there are many ways in which I’m in dialogue with the Divine.  I often use my own thoughts, pray, pose a question before meditation or falling asleep, and sometimes use angel cards or other oracle cards or a pendulum as a way of facilitating our communication.  And I do get responses!  Sometimes the response comes in the form of a dream, an intuition, a still small voice, a bright idea, a synchronicity, or simply a knowing.  To learn more about people's communication with God, read the results of this fascinating survey by clicking here.  I’d love to hear from you about your own experiences with conversations with God, so please be in touch.
